Kelly told me yesterday that the rink is booked on Friday until 10:00; I am not sure if anyone would want to play at that time. I can check with her about Sunday but Dave will be gone for a week so I need to make sure we have enough guys and enough goalies if we play this Sunday. Let me know. The other possibility would be Saturday since Dave will still be here (although I don't know what his plans are that day).
Also, stats are done. I will try to post the picture of the box score tomorrow.
Out for Sunday: Dave, Praters
Out for Saturday: Praters

WEEKLY POWER RANKINGS
10-21-16
I'm Sorry
10 Johnny (-3) - Go back and read my last thoughts on Johnnys play. Stop relying on people to get you the ball and just go get it.
9 Brendon (+2) - Its always nice to be rewarded for doing all the little things right. His forechecking was a huge factor in many goals scored for the white team. He even, for what i believe was the first time in his life, actually took responsibility for something he did wrong instad of trying to excuse his way out of it. Thats probably the last time he'll slip up like than and appologize for his terrible play.
8 Billy (+2) - No one benefitted more from the trade than Billy. He was able to get off that titanic of a roster with dark and was able to experience what its like to play for a real TEAM.
7 Ward (-2) - Only moves down 2 but i was most disappointed with his play. Hes regressing back to a time where you have to ask yourself "did Mike even play last week?"
6 Jared (-4) - Woof! What a debacle. Its unusual to see someone quit before the night even starts. He conceeded that he wasnt going to have a good night going verse Brett and Borges and decided instead to freak out over loose sticks laying on the ground that he just didnt have the agility to avoid. Whats it liked to get owned by a 16 year old?
5 Demaio (+4) - Mike torched the dark team with 7 goals. It was like he was playing just another game in the 60 and over league in dracut.
4 Nick (-1) - Not as bad as eveyone else thought he played. Atleast he didnt complain that no one was helping him do his job for him like Jared was. Could you imagin if Nick asked Jared to play better defense because he himself wasnt getting the job done? I cant either.
3 Dave (+3) - You're gonna get weeks like this when you play ok and move up 3 spots because everyone else stunk. There was that one glove save on Joes slapper that was pretty nice.
2 Borges (+2) - The captain had his eye on all situations and was calling for subs left and right so that white team would be fresh all night. It worked to perfection, leading to production from all players. Id listen to Borges' direction any day. Unless he tried to tell me something during a timeout in a tournament in Montreal.
1 Brett (E) - A bold move to try and win a scoring title on defense. Its working so far.

WEEKLY POWER RANKINGS
11 Billy - By a thread. Too many goals scored in and around the front of the net. Aren't you glad you made WPR this time? I can't explain why there's 11 spots this week. It drops to 10 in future iterations.
10 Brendon - By two threads. A good first two weeks, but the third week was chalk full of slow, cerebrally bad plays. Sometimes it looks like he's trying his hardest to not make a decision with the ball. And he still doesn't know what icing is. Never mind. He's 11 this week.
9 Demaio - A nice game from Mike. He hustled to the corners and forecheck, causing turnovers and panic moves from the defense. Mike gets it. Get the ball to Jared and get open. He seems to be learning how to move without the ball which is good because he's not that great moving with the ball.
8 Jack - "Easily the best game He's ever played by a mile" - Brendon Martino. Jack was jack. Though 3-0 is nothing to be ashamed of.
7 Johnny - If this defensive center starts losing his defensive ability, what's left? If you're not gonna bury EVERY chance, you better start preventing some on the other end. Time to recommit to defense.
6 Dave - Three loses doesn't look good on the stat sheet next to a 5 GAA. But Dave easily had the tougher saves to make on Jared, Brett, Ron and even Sams one timers. Yeah on some plays he looked slow to react but for the most part he lived up to all the mediocrity.
5 Ward - If he just stuck to defense he could've ranked above nick. Sometimes when he loses focus it leads to greatness. Friday, it didn't. Maybe next week he'll learn how to make a pass up the boards without firing a slapshot at Jared.
4 Borges - Who knew he was so stinking fast? Jonny boy played a decent winger and provided the only real threat from the white team. He's always good for a crappy wrap around or a no angle goal from the boards. Come to think of it, I think his mid air goal was a high stick. So now he's a cheater.
3 Nick - Panic. I've seen him panic with Cindy forechecking. It's a problem.
2 Jared - He definitely ran more than anyone else and almost had one of the top 25 end to end to end goals I've ever seen.
1 Brett - His stick is quicker, his legs are quicker and his decisions are quicker. White team struggled all night to penetrate the zone. And even when Brendon tried the always successful dump and chase, Brett was there first and carried the ball out of danger. The only thing they could do is shove Brett from behind in frustration.
Honorable Mention: Ron - Ron had a good night and even had a game winner. But the first two weeks were sooooooo bad. It's gonna take another good week for him to crack the list.
10 Brendon - By two threads. A good first two weeks, but the third week was chalk full of slow, cerebrally bad plays. Sometimes it looks like he's trying his hardest to not make a decision with the ball. And he still doesn't know what icing is. Never mind. He's 11 this week.
