5 Jared - Only in this spot if game 5 even counted. Him and Derek were the only players on the white team that the black team had to worry about. And since Griff took care of Derek, there were four others that were covering Jared. Yet he still managed to make his presence felt(only in the offensive zone). got the one and only goal scored in game 6. Good for you Jared, for getting that “next goal wins”. 1 for 10 on breakaways.
4 Reginald - Though arriving late (which usually results in an automatic exclusion from Power Rankings) Reggie picked up where The Darks teams offense left off after the first 3 games. With the Dark teams usual top guns looking tired, Reggie made some heads up plays by picking off 2 terrible passes (cause they thought he was on their team)and sealing the deal in game 4 and game 5. Take it easy on Brendan please. Though it was quite a site to see I must say.
3 Griff - His lackadaisical style of play may aggravate his own teammates but they couldn’t complain with the results last night. He scored from the red line for goodness sake. And he frustrated Derek D all night with his physical presence on the boards, he proved too much for Derek to handle, limiting him to only two goals.
2 Dave - Untested in game 1. Games 2,3 and 4 were a totally different story. And Dave proved ready for a change in the story line by writing his own chapter entitled “Not this time”. His GAA might not reflect it, but he made it possible for his team to hold on and come back in multiple games with huge saves on Derek and Jared and Mike D. 1 SO and 4 wins.
1 ? - Who should be number one? Was it Brett, who scored a natural hat-trick (3 straight goals in a row) to carry his team to victory after being in a deep hole. Who played solid D, getting back numerous times when his team was caught up ice. Who injured Billy near the end of the game cause he wore rollerblades. Yet got very frustrated at certain points of the game. Or maybe some would say it should be JR who did much of the same as Brett did and maybe passed the puck to some players that Brett doesn’t prefer to pass to(although Brett did pass to Bradley a few times). JR, who is related to the number 2 ranked player. JR, who refuses to lose 2 weeks in a row. Who, (I don’t have the stats, but I’m guessing) had his fare share of goals.
After carefully reviewing the facts and replaying the game in my mind. We have a first ever tie at the top of the Power Rankings. You can’t go wrong with either of these players.
I feel that anonymous is jesting at who he believes to be the author of "PR", saying he‘s not biased? Is it because you think it's Brett and Brett always seems to be on the rankings?
How many times has Brett been 1st star? a few less than Johnny. and none till this year(till his first game winner)
Look at the stats. Brett's played 3 less games and 10 less point than JR, second in stats, best playmaker(most assists by alot), great D when needed. He's not always 1st star, only when he deserves it. But he's almost always a top player every week. Ask JR if he likes playing with him. He's either first or second pick each week.

because the dark team didn't pay attention to him, any one left open will get scoring chances, but they felt they didn't need to pay too much attention to him.
They focused on Jared and Derek, and they still got scoring chances. They were the two that, if anyone was going to beat them, it would be them two
They felt Mike D wasn't the one that was going to beat their team.

what's the point of having polls for the mvp of the week?
it's never serious, and that's why Power Rankings gives an honest opinion every week
Yes, honest, and not biased at all!
is that a sarcstic response?
thanking you for explaining the term "natural hat trick"

I love being Anonymous!!
must be because you hate who you really are
WPR contradicts himself in his own post.
In your #5 you say - Him and Derek were the only players on the white team that the black team had to worry about
Yet in #3 you say - with huge saves on Derek and Jared and Mike D
So how could Dave have to make huge saves on Mike D if the dark team only had to worry about Jared and Derek?
All this anonymous stuff is getting outta control. I can't even remeber which post is mine anymore.

They were right, he didn't
WPR - were you watching the same games??
You're really going to say they were just leaving Mike D. alone?
I know everyone is allowed to just voice what ever they want, but PLEASE try to make sense.
no i said they weren't paying TOO much attention, i didn't say they were just leaving him alone
