Hockey this Sunday - Outside @ 5:45

Alright guys, let's make up for last week's debacle with some good games this week. The number of weeks we have left in the season is probably down to the single digits.

Out this week: Brad, Matt S, Joe

Doubtful: Lee

In: John, Nick, Jared, Brendon, Lenny, Chris, Mike D, Mike Ward, Billy T, Reggie, Steve

Haven't heard from: Brett, Darrin, Steve, Micah, Griff, Matt P, Ron, Steve P, Dale

One further note: check back later today / this weekend for an update on some projections that were made at the start of the year.

And I will be ranking myself as Number three for last week. Simply for my three graceful lay-downs on the icy tundra last week!
Jarrod you were number One!

Okay guys. I had time to do some of the projections, but could only get through the top 11. I'll post the rest of where I had people projected afterwards.

Just as an FYI, by result I'm referring to the difference between expected ppg and actual ppg. Anything within a range of .1 I considered the same.

1. John - Projected: 186 pts 82 games (2.25 ppg)
- Actual: 172 pts 63 games (2.68 ppg)
- Proj rank: 1st
- Result: Higher

2. Jared - Projected: 169 pts 85 games (2.0 ppg)
- Actual: 172 pts 63 games (2.2 ppg)
- Proj rank: 2nd
- Result: Higher

3. Brend - Projected: 120 pts 80 games (1.50 ppg)
- Actual: 100 pts 68 games (1.47 ppg)
- Proj rank: 4th
- Result: Same

- Actual: 77 pts 43 games (1.79 ppg)
- Proj rank: 7th
- Result: Higher

6. Griff - Projected: 65 pts 50 games (1.30 ppg)
- Actual: 72 pts 47 games (1.53 ppg)
- Proj rank: 6th
- Result: Higher

7. Nick - Projected: 59 pts 85 games (0.70 ppg)
- Actual: 51 pts 68 games (0.75 ppg)
- Proj rank: 8th
- Result: Same

8. Mike D - Projected: 80 pts 80 games (1.0 ppg)
- Actual: 46 pts 51 games (0.9 ppg)
- Proj rank: 5th
- Result: Same

9. Dale - Projected: 57 pts 60 games (0.95 ppg)
- Actual: 45 pts 36 games (1.25 ppg)
- Proj rank: 9th
- Result: Higher

10.Brad - Projected: 44 pts 85 games (0.50 ppg)
- Actual: 28 pts 53 games (0.52 ppg)
- Proj rank: 11th
- Result: Same

11.Chris - Projected: 35 pts 50 games (0.70 ppg)
- Actual: 22 pts 51 games (0.43 ppg)

Always find the positive Chris!

Brett said...

i could have beaten Jared if i didn't mangle my hand, and maybe even Johnny

Brett said...

what does proj rank mean?

is it based on this season, or is it where they were expected to finish before the season started?

John said...

That's based on where they were projected to finish before the season started.

Brett said...

but i beat jared in points last year in less games too. Why was he projected to finish above me?

Nick said...

Poll results: only one person misses BB

Jared said...

I talked to big board, he promises a triumphant comeback monday night. He's devastated that no one misses him, and he may have voted for himself.

mike ward is in every week johnny and i should be able to get a couple guys from my hall with the nice weather, i'll let you know.

Brett, I had projected that you would have a higher ppg average than Jared (2.2 vs 2.0).

For whatever reason though, I only thought you'd end up playing 65 games compared to Jared's 85 games.

I guess is that I figured you'd miss a couple of weeks early on with Gabe being a newborn, although maybe subconscioulsy I thought you'd pick a fight with your table-saw.
