So for this Sunday, the rivalry begins...Goalies are Darrin and Steve.
Team A: John, Brett, Nick, Mike W
Team B: Jon, Griff, Mike D, Mark S
Pool: Chris, Brad, Billy T (doubtful), Brendon, Lenny, Steve P
B Team gets first pick and choice of goalie. I will update the pool of players based on who is coming this week once I hear from each person. Still waiting to hear from Steve P, Lenny, Reggie, Dale, Matt S, etc.
I have to check if I still have my stop watch. Jon, did you or Brett have it last? I don't remember if anyone gave it to me or not.
Finally, it looks like next week will be the first week for the Fantasy stats.

Since you have 4 guys and I have 3 right now, add mark to my team like I said earlier. Now we each start out with 4 guys. Then I'll get first pick and goalie. Then we can pick them up from there.

Just remember, even if you take Darrin, he's still A-Team all the way.

based on the players that are left to pick from. he could have the next 6 picks if we got darrin and i say we shut them out all three games.

But brett, we are the overrated "a team". The team tht everyone is gunning for. If they want to prove that their team is better they have to beat all of us...not just a few of us. We stick together.

so what are we gonna do about icing?
Montreal is a lot smaller so if they ice it - it doesn't take as much time.
I don't think the icing last night had to do with the timed games - they would have been iced even if the games weren't timed
If it's iced why doesn't the other team just get it at the top of the zone, give them 3-5 feet, for 5 seconds at which point the D can start to bother them - we should do that anytime someone has it at the top of the zone - give them a few feet for 5 seconds
That's similiar to what Montreal does for when the goalie ties it up.
i agree with mike.that sound like a good plan. both of the teams were icing it yesterday. the team that has the pressure on them should not get rewarded for icing it. lets do that.
If that is what we do the defensive player should count out loud so there is no question about how long they waited
Also the offensive player will know as soon as they cross that red line the defensive player can start to count
