As it worked out, there were not going to be enough people for hockey yesterday afternoon (I think we would have had 3 on 3). For the people that I didn't get to text or call back, I apologize for that. I either had caught a bug or I was having a reaction to the pain medication I took for my back and I was in bed from 3:30 on.
So when it comes to this week, I will be leaving for a few days for work on Saturday, so the only day I can play is possibly Friday evening. I'm not sure what the availability of the rink will be, but I can find out. Dave will be here until Sunday, so if you guys wanted to play Saturday then someone can try to schedule a game for that day.
I will be back the following Thursday so I will be more than ready to play hockey that weekend. We can decide Saturday or Sunday that weekend since the Pats will be playing their first playoff game at 4:00 that Sunday.
But for now, let me know if you want to try for Friday, and stats are now up from our last game.
No hockey today guys. I will plan a game for next Sat / Sun when I'm back.

I wouldn't know if I could Friday until later in the week and it would depend on the time as well.
I doubt I could get there any earlier that 7.

poor Dave. Comes out for 4 weeks and only gets to play for one.
Yeah, it's crappy how it worked out...the snow, then my back / tourney, and then this weekend. I am still going to try to call the rink for tomorrow night, but it's doubtfull based on their availability plus the number of guys who have committed thus far.
I'll make another post later on today about next week, but I'll be back from my trip before next weekend, so hockey should be able to resume as normal...although for next weekend it will likely be Saturday afternoon due to the Pats.
At least it was a good game I got to play for....
Johnny don't worry about scheduling a game that will work for my availability. It appears Sunday works best for everybody anyways.
Next time I want DOUBLE hockey time.

hmmm...Im all for friday if we can make it work, but Im willing to try and pull something together for sunday if thats better.
is it me, or have we skipped more weeks this year than any other? Support seems low also
Brett we hadn't skipped any weeks at all until the snow storm 2 weeks ago. Last week I couldn't play because of my back and you guys all played in the Saturday tourney so there weren't enough left to play on Sunday. And this work trip had been planned for months, so it's not like it came out of nowhere.
Next weekend we'll be back to normal, and support should be fine. We have quite a few consistent players each week: me, you, Nick, Brad, Brendon, Jon, Griff, Jared, Mike D, Billy. That's 10 guys right there. Add in Chris, Lenny, Joe, Bob, my father, and eventually Steve P and we should be fine with guys each week.
