Our defense has not been that bad for the most part (besides those horrible penalty "kills" the other night, that was gross.) but we need to change the offensive chemistry.
I know it sounds funny when I say moving Borges back to defense will help the offense, but I really think it would be for the best. Borges will help to create offense from the point and give another defenseman to transition the game. Obviously a defensive improvement too.
To me a shakeup is needed. Move Reggie up. He has the best scoring touch of the guys who would move up.

Jared Ron Griff (on his "non lazy" night)
Have Mike Ward Cycle through (how many too many men penalties can he get in one night?)

Nick/Mike D
JB/ Billy
I know the center thing is an issue but, for the most part, our wingers are responsible enough to handle it.
Nick is absolutely right. But I say move Mike d up to center with Jared and ron with Griff rotating through. Or maybe shake up me Johnny and ward seeing as all we've been able to do is create pressure but no goals.
Okay, as far as Sunday goes if enough of the maybes turn to yes by Friday / Saturday then I'll plan this week, if not then we definitely plan for next week since it's been a while.
Sorry Joe, I didn't see this in time, and too many people only told me maybe. I would like to definitely make this happen next week so whoever can definitely play next Sunday let me know.
GOUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTT!!! so im out.. wait this came just a lil to late. Will someone please tell me if we won last night?! I have to add my two cents in as a casual player/observer from the past two weeks. 1st. I suck.. im out of shape and my hockey sense is so delayed its horrible to watch. i get anxious with the ball on D and i stop playing on instinct. That being said i would love to move up, but only if i could run, and only limited. I could spell JB here and there and it would definitely boost my confidence as i think i can pass pretty good in transition. But in reality by the time im ready to do that, the season would probably be over. So keep me on D, i guess. I had scoring touch Nick, it no longer applies now. But i do like the idea of JB back at the point at some time, who to take his spot from D i dont know. As a team, in the two games ive played i realized that we are having too much "fun" out there. we just dont have that killer "finish them off" mentality. I hate losing as much as the next guy but reality is. We are a bunch of semi talented weekend guys who dont play enough "hockey" together to be good. I think if we all had a real "ice hockey" background we would be so much better. I played some as a kid i dont know about the rest of you. But ive never played in a meaningful game, or in a decent league on ice. So that leaves me, when im in shape, a good steet hockey player no more no less. Soooooo I guess thats my other question to the rest of the gang. Who feels that they have actually played a a decent competitive game of ice hockey.

If I stay on D I'd say keep nick/Billy together you guys have been playing D together all year so why break that up.
