Old Habits Die Hard…..Or Not At All

3 Brett – Brett’s goal made 3-1, but he came late and missed an open net in the third that would’ve made it 4-2. He couldn’t come through in the clutch for the Alliance. I guess all those clutch goals in Saugus don’t translate, along with any other stats anyone has ever racked up over there.

2 Johnny – I didn’t see his first one go in cause my chauffer got lost and I got there late, but I hear it was a nice gritty goal as was his second one. Yes he was out there for all three goals (maybe all 4?) but the important thing is that he’s scoring. Let’s make sure that part of his game becomes consistent before moving on to anything else. Baby steps, Bob Wiley, baby step.

1 No One – Does anyone really think there should be a number 1 after being a part of that game? Even if someone scored all three goals for the Alliance, they were still a part of that embarrassing loss. Actually the number one player this week was the center on the other team; the ugly kid with glasses and a whiffle.

Honorable Mention: You’re joking right? An honorable mention after that game? No way. What I don’t think everyone understands is that you all need to be scorers. You all need to be setup men. You all need to back-check and play defense. Mike D you need to score goals and get assists when on offense. Johnny you need to hustle more. Brett you need to start firing shots at the net. There are no role players on this team. Granted there are some who are better in certain areas than others, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be adequate in all areas. Look at Billy T. He’s improved every single part of his game because he WANTS to improve and he works on it and takes direction. He still isn't good, I'm just saying he's improved. Everyone should be expected to produce on both ends of the ice. Except Nick.
