This is Getting Irritating
Jared - Admitted that he needs to start finishing more and that'd be great, but he still makes plays happen than no one else on the team can make happen. In particular the penalty kill face-off win then beat both defensemen to send himself on a breakaway.
Brett - Was actually ineffective this game till he went back to defense where he could confuse the coverage by jumping into the offense (which he could've done even more than he did). Brett's speed neutralized the Black Bear's speed that was shredding the defense early in the game. If only the....GAMEWINNERS!....? figured out the line change earlier in the game maybe they could have lost in a shootout instead
JB - The only true center left on the team, able to do everything that a center should be able to do. Borges was in the middle of the comeback try, scoring a goal and setting up 2 others and almost tying it with seconds to go. The only area where he's lacking is in his managerial skills and its getting annoying. I know Ron is high maintenance and Griff is hard to motivate and Eric never shows and Nick has school, but find a way to get them there. The Gamewinners need all of them.

I want the first period back yesterday. Me jb and Brett got outplayed badly by their top line which I like to think doesn't happen often.
Brett on d is a bad idea, granted it's what turned the game around, but we need scoring.
Nick i thought you were going to try to make nine o'clock games?
I feel like having me back there will raise the overall scoring on our team. And since Nick wont be making many games its a decision that needs to be made as soon as next game seeing that its at 8.

Yeah, that blew up in my face.
I didn't get out until 8:50, dracut should be like 35 minutes away...showing up half way through the 2nd seemed pointless but I was going to show anyway to see how bad the ride is, etc but then I got pulled over (yeah again; it's a speed trap I tell ya!) that ended up only costing me ten minutes, but ten minutes that i needed. So I just went home. Oh well.
I don't expect to make many 9pm games on time, if at all, from what I can tell. But there's always 10pm games and Columbus day?

Brett, there are some other factors that can push it back but I'll be done at the end of march.

The skating is definitely different, but overall pretty fun.
My 2 cents.....
Mike and I cant play the entire game on defense, obviously. The only options we have are to play JB or Brett on D. Everyone else are fowards. (Except maybe Ron, but he needs to play wing. Plus I dont think he wants to play D where Brett doesnt mind)
I vote that Brett plays D. JB is our only true center (besides John, but we need 2 centers) Think about Brett's greatest assets: his speed and playmaking ability. He still brings those assets to the table when on D. He can still jump into the play and set up Jared, JB, Ron or whoever for goals. In just the last game, Brett made a lot of offensive plays from D.
There are pros and cons to every decision. Of course, all of this is mute if Joe comes back. That would be nice.

The point is that JB needs to make a decision and it'd be nice if he made it soon. Like maybe today.
But, if Jared's right and JB ends up going on D, I actually wouldn't mind it seeing as Johnny would move up to 1st line center and best of all.....he's a righty.

We could get short sleeves no problem. I'm just hoping if someones willing to pay for a Jersey they'll be more committed to playing. Plus they look incredible

Actually it did get us something - 3 weeks off
We got bounced I our first playoff game!!!
