Where We Belong
10 Andrew – Played a good game even though the hands aren’t quite there yet but he used his speed on the dump and chase and abused the dark team’s defense. I’ve never seen someone use the dump and chase as effective as he did.
9 Elliot – Really the same as Andrew because I still don’t know which one is which, but somehow Elliot was a little bit better than Andrew.
8 Billy T – Really didn’t play to his capabilities. That is all.
7 Mike W – His camera work was shaky but he more than made up for it with his shut down defense and that deke on the breakaway to get Jack to move laterally….a thing of beauty.
6 Johnny – Not getting back like he used to, Johnny got those tough angle goals and took his patented 20 minute sub after game 1. His wrap around goal was just unstoppable even with the defense and goalie in position.
5 Mike D – Will this kid make up his mind about which position he’s going to dominate? Defense? Offense? Pick one! His offensive prowess and ability to be in the right place at the right time allowed him to score a bunch of goals. If we start playing every week in Saugus, he’s only going to get better and better.
4 JB – Penalty shot goals are some of the rarest form of goals scored in Saugus, along with good goals. Even after Jared coached up Rick, JB was still able to bury the penalty shot going 5-hole. His ability to sneak up on the defense like a cat burglar was impressive.
3 Brendon – Nothing was going to stop Brendon from playing in the first Saugus game in months. Not even a gruesome, self-inflicted, slow developing hamstring and acl tear. The amount of hockey tape use to treat the injury is uncertain, but wolverine was able to heal 100% in 3 minutes, without even a sign of a limp, and never missed a shift. Brendon made Ariel never want to play any form of hockey ever again after the juke he put on her and went in for a beautiful goal on a top notch goalie, something he can and will be proud of for years to come.
2 Brett – D-D passing was a sight for sore eyes and Brett and Mike W executed it to perfection.(Brett did, Mike not so much). Brett’s 100 foot passes up the middle to a streaking teammate was a regular occurrence all night and his reprimanding of Gabe on the bench was a highlight.
1 Jared – Started the stats season off the right way, by picking a highly questionable roster. That roster ended up torching the dark team’s defense in games 1, 2 and 5. Jared led the way with goals and assists and with making Nick panic more than usual by merely using words and accusations.

hey look who's back!!!!!!!!!!
All of the links on the side bar are finally fixed.
I think this was the top list of worst players (except jared).
Nick doesn't even make the list? Wow. He played slightly less horrendous than I did... hey Nick, you can have my spot.
Don't want it..but thank you
Brett, I have a nice bruise right above my elbow!
Isn't every WPR a top ten worst in Saugus even if unintentional?
Johnny you should ice that. Don't want that getting inflamed
We have to play more Saugus hockey so we don't embarrass ourselves in front of the Lebron wannabes at the Haverhill Cup (in Lawrence). Oh, wait. Nevermind.
BTW, if we are going to play this Sunday I am going to have to try to book the rink early this week. Who would be in?
So far I have me, Dave (G), and my father (out of net).
does he want to use my lefty stick?
or he is going to use your right stick?
lol
I've got a couple of icepacks on it right now...if only I wore my elbow pads!
I'd play on Sunday. That makes three. Who else?
Nick, it does not matter!
Mike and Billy are in for Sunday too. I am going to call the rink to see what is available for a time slot, and if it looks like we'll have enough then I'll book it.
BTW, I am in meetings all day most of the week so it will be a little while before I can enter all of the stats in and update the database.
However, I will try to post the overall numbers later today from the sheet by order of points.
Last time career stats were updated?

:)
Me and mike are in again for Sunday
I'm in
Stat of the day; there are exactly 121 points separating 1st and 2nd place and 2nd and 3rd place all time. Not a lot of room to go up and down the standings! Although brett should be able to pass brendon in career assists
He might just pass Brendon in total points on Sunday. He only needs 70. Doable.
The rink is available 6-8 again, so I have a temporary hold on it.
In so far: John, Jack, Dave (G), Brendon, Jared, Mike W, Nick, Billy, Mike D. Pretty sure about Andrew and Elliot but waiting to find out. Waiting to hear on Joe and Lenny but their word is dead to me now!
Danno + 1 are in for Sunday too.
I should be in. But just a maybe for now.
If we play about forty five games this season, at our current PPG ratio, and factoring in frendons steep decline in talent since last time we played, I should be able to over take him in points and assists. Not sure about goals though.
Brett, can you ask Darrin if he could play? I have tried texting him but haven't heard back. If not then I could get my dad or maybe Rick to play the other net, but wanted to matchup Dave and Darrin if possible.
Darrin's in
Stats?
6:00, correct. Inside rink. I will post the list of who is in, and try to post the stats later today.
