The problem with stats this year was that I got so far behind it was impossible to keep up. Next year I will stay on top of it each week so the stats will be regular again.
When we play in Lawrence what do you guys think about switching things up a bit? Since the rink is much smaller we can probably switch over to playing 3 on 3. If that were the format would anyone be interested in having 3 captains draft up 3 teams to play over the summer?
Outside of the initial draft teams can trade among each other and "add" as many players as they want to their roster (they will just have to find playing time for them). Each time we play all three teams will take turns playing against each. Goalies could alternate between teams since it could be hard to get three to show up each time.
Obviously team records and players stats can be kept, although they would probably be separate from the Saugus ones. Let me know what everyone thinks - it could be a lousy idea and we just have regular games in Lawrence, but it seemed like a way to mix it up a little bit for the summer.
Obviously one of the main reasons for doing the 3on3 or 4on4 is so guys can practice for June.
So should probably take those 6 guys: JB, Jared, Nick, Griff, MVW, & Ron and let them split themselves up to 2 teams of 3, whichever way they want. Then get a 3rd and possibly 4th captain and let them get their core 3 guys. Then at that point each team can draft from the remaining pool of players.
Brett will most likely play goalie every week so that just leaves needed one other goalie.
Could play like a king of the rink format. Team that wins stays.
How bout we have just 8 to ten guys play that way we dont have to even out the bad players. Let me rephrase that. That way we dont have to even out the children.

In. Johnny how bout playing in lawrence after this week?
This site still claims to be home to recaps stats and wpr, can someone deliver on one of those?
It should be called home of who's playing next week...
its also the new home to Big Board...says so on the title. :)
My goal is to do one next week with it being the last week of Saugus but im sure the Bruins/MTL series will distract me.
Lawrence is fine with me afterwards. Weather would be the only concern.

Just post what you have Johnny and maybe update 3 weeks worth every week. I think you can do it I believe in you!
I'd like to get some 3 on 3 going or 4 on 4 in Lawrence in a few weeks. I'm in with Ward Sunday.
Mike D and I are in
