You know Nick, ya now that you say it, I was surprised at the time out when the ref said 30 seconds left. What???? He must of let the clock run during the delays when balls were shot in no mans land as he waited for someone to toss a game ball back to us.
Ya I thought there would be a couple minutes left when I called a timeout, as you can see I lost all interest in giving a rally speech when I found out there was only 30 seconds. A true captain knows when to give up.
Praters are out for this weekend, and I hadn't gotten another goalie yet other than Brett. With that being said, with Jared and Mike / Iggy, Nick, JB, Mike and Billy, you and me we would have enough players. Unfortunately it looks like it is going to rain on Sunday so it would have to be Saturday if we did it.
I had figured you guys might want to take a week to recover anyway...however, if everyone wants to try for tomorrow I can see about getting goalies and playing late afternoon when it's not as hot. If not then we can wait until next week since I don't know if we'd have enough for Saugus.
If anybody is interested in knowing where other outdoor street hockey courts are around the USA, then here you go... (Ya someone had way too much time on there hands)
My Ottawa trip car group has had a lingering effect on me.
Every time I go out and see (ahhumm) something interesting... I yell out the word "HELLO" it's uncontrollable. I tried to stop it, but in my head are haunts of Iggy, Mike and Jared, so I just give in and belt out a funny sounding HELLO... and in my head I get a nod of approval from my buds.
Is that weird? I gotta admit i'm getting some looks from people when my windows are down

was there 7 min (or so) of video after the ref said there was 7 min left? Did he end up cutting us short like it felt.
That 3rd goal still frustrates me.

There was about 2 to 3 minutes played after he said 5 minutes left. He cut us short by probably 2 minutes
