Let's go down the checklist of what made Jared such a great captain this year. Cool, calm and collected? ✔️ Likable? ✔️ Inspirational? ✔️ clutch scoring? A big fat ❌. "But he scored a ton of goals" an idiot might say. 12 to be exact. Well since Jared is so good at math, let's go ahead and do a bit ourselves. In two games verse all girls, Jared lit up the stat sheet with 2 goal in the first (including the GW) and a hat trick in game 2. Impressed so far? Jared then went bananas in the quarter finals with another hat trick.......in a game his team lost by 5. Real clutch wouldn't you say? So exactly how many meaningful goals are we left with from Jared's stellar weekend? Jared? Little help?

One could make the counter argument that if our goalie didn't let up 8 goals on 11 shots our goals would've been more important. And let's not under value the accomplishment of beating a professional hockey team led by Jamie Lee Rattray!

Guys if we start working the phones now I bet I could get Jamie Lee on our team, we dump Griff and we join the Co-Ed group. Or we dump griff and we stay in the same division because I am sure no one will actually notice the difference between Griff and Jamie Lee anyways...Finals appearance for sure...
And why is nobody talking about the dancing Jared above?? Was that before a meeting Jared or right when you got home??

I think that was taped right after we beat the girls team the second time.

"Hey Jared you didn't have any clutch goals because that hat trick you scored against the best team we played, that, you know, smoked us, wasn't enough to overcome that disastrous shift. Maybe you should have scored 10 goals in that game. Now that would have been "clutch"!"
Yep Jared's total number of goals were probably pumped up by the girls but lets not take away his best game.
Does that hat trick include that goal that hit the center of the net that didn't count?
Yeah nick I'm sure they were really clamping down on defense with an 8 goal lead and Jared was still able to put on a super human effort. Good job Jared. It was garbage time.
so it was like Jared was hitting against AL pitchers in the first half and NL pitchers in the second half?
I thought that team played loose on defense the entire game. If you want to say Jared didn't score enough throughout the tourney then sure yeah Ill buy that. But he was probably the biggest reason we even sniffed a chance at comeback in that game.
How did you do at scoring in "Garbage time" btw?
It wasn't his best game. I think all this is stemming from Nick being upset that a certain someone is being ranked so much higher than him

I think the fact that I took a penalty shot for our team shows how sad a state our team was in.

Im probably second best if i were to guess but that post wasn't a self pat on the back. It shows what that game had turned into at that point. But good job getting the point. Nick when do you figure you'll be able to contribute any goals to the team?

One of my trolls heard from a source, of a source, that WPR was excepting bribes for the Ottawa rankings.
Obviously Ron must of dug pretty deep into this pockets to be slotted for the upcoming 3 hole.
I asked Ron about it and he would neither confirm nor deny the rumor.
He only said that there was such a thing as an ethical bribe... yup I can see George Takei doing a split finger sign and sayin, "things that make you go hmm"
Let's at least start with garbage time goals and then try to build off that.
