Is it just me? Or does anyone else think that relying on people to post their IN/OUT status on this site is actually the LEAST reliable mechanism we have for determining the group size?

I'm so glad I get to wait until 4:30pm on Sunday to find out if we are playing at 6 that day. Let me just clear my schedule and keep every Sunday open just in case.
When people ask me if I have plans that day, I usually tell them: "Yes and no. I have to hold that day open for hockey (just in case) because we can't get a bloody answer from anyone anymore..." (yes, I use a British accent when I give that response :)
Quick Stat update: I am three weeks behind, but I got one of them done today. A little difficult since it was off of a text message, but those have been entered. I will do the other two tomorrow and publish all three together.
Sorry, Dave. I haven't had one, but a friend of mine said it felt like trying to pee out shards of broken glass...Yeah, I'll bet it's brutal. If it's any consolation, he said that after he passed it, the pain stopped almost immediately. Dope up, man. We'll see you when you get better.
A more accurate description would be grabbing a testicle and squeezing with variable amounts of pressure. Fun. Even after its done the kidney spasms for awhile, and all the muscles around get very sore and feel very bruised.

The problem is that I don't know that we have enough guys without having the goalies. Elliot texted me last night saying that he has family coming so he can't play now. I asked my father last night but he is out this week. Steve is out sick this week. So even if Brett and I play net we have: Brendon, Jared, Ward, Nick, Billy, Ron (not sure about JB).
With the Super Bowl next week we would have to try for Friday. After that I am hoping for a number of Sundays in a row.
Sorry Billy, it was looking good until anyone that could have played net couldn't make it. With Brett and I in net there aren't enough other guys to play unless EVERYONE else shows up: Joe, Ron, Borges, Mike D, John F, etc.

It's an hour drive for me without traffic, so I may be one of the first to flake, which would leave you with 1 goalie. I was already going to cut it close for time because we have a "publisher meeting" at 3:30 on Sunday, so the weather is definite a factor for me.
That's what I was afraid of. I'd rather we sort this out sooner than later. Brett or John could play net, but if we don't have enough guys to play it doesn't matter...

Forecast changed to rain/snow mix. Rain changes things for the better. It looks like it will be a game-time decision.
