Well, I'm sure you're all sleeping now, so I didn't txt anyone. It's almost 2am and I just got home after hailing a cab from the hospital back to hockey town. Then driving myself home. That was fun.
Diagnosis: bruised lung, inflammation and swelling around the lungs (which explains the back pain), and several broken ribs. Out 4-6 weeks. I guess I'll see how I'm feeling in April and take it from there...still hoping I'll be healed up in time for the Haverhill Cup....I think I'll know the week before if I'm going to be a go or not.
Well, that's it. Gotta try and get some sleep now if possible...
Didn't get to find out. The Dr just said several for sure. She said that there could be more that didn't show up on x-ray because x-rays don't always show up hairline fractures very well, so they just treat it like they are all potentially fractured. There's nothing they can do, as you know. You just have to let it heal, since it's all internal.
And Brendon I hate to break it to you but you lost me at "she told me" everyone knows girls can't be real doctors, their brain is much smaller then a mans and can't hold that much information... she was probably just a secratery pretending to do a mans job.
The doctor was actually Iggy in a bad wig, and he insisted that I keep calling him a her, else heshe would inject some random shot into me when I wasn't looking.
Next time you pose as a woman, Ignads, at least shave your back.
