Report Card Time

John -- A
Looking almost like the Johnny of old, he pulled off the seldom-seen 5 goal game. Missed a few chances that he should have buried but not more than the rest of us. Now if only he could take this momentum into the Haverhill Cup....
Frendon -- B+
Gotta hit those wide open shots in front of the net. Also can't get flustered when 14 people are yelling at you for the ball, as if you didn't know that they were there...wait, 14? Well, it seemed like 14 anyway...moving on...
Nick -- D+
I know what you're thinking. A D+ for Nick? With a goal and pair of assists? Yeah, well, the reason for this grade is because of how high we have already set the bar for Nick. That game 2 shutout was a defensive embarrassment. Lead your Defense, Nick! Lead them!
Mike D [Goaltender] -- A for Effort, C- for execution
Don't get me wrong, Mike made some nice saves at times and did much better than I would have in there. Call it rust, he just didn't have the magic that we needed to beat Brett-on-his-deathbed-Driscoll in game 2.
JB [Winger] -- F+
Did he play Winger those first two games? Funny....I didn't see his name anywhere on the score sheet...hmmmm...
Reggie -- C
PLaying defense the entire night usually wont net you many points, and his goose-egg backs that up. But he had some nice plays here or there when he broke up some rushes and got the ball to the wingers. Average night from Reg. Maybe if his back didn't tighten up he could have pulled off a few good slappers from the blue line. There's always next week...
Drew -- D-
Not sure what he was doing back there on Defense that caused Nick to abandon all hope but whatever he was doing, it wasn't working.
Billy -- A+
Finally! A night where Billy has a complete game from a defensive and offensive perspective. 2 goals and 5 assists, 2 of them being Game-Winning Assists. Maybe we should dock him a grade because he was shooting on DeMaio all night. We'll give it to him though for that Jared-esque slapshot that curved (a bit) and beat Mike in the air.
Jared -- D+
Once again, you have to take into consideration where he already set the bar for himself. An off-night for the cherry-picking off-winger, but he still landed in the middle of the pack for points. However, Jared, you were beaten by your father. I think he used a belt, too. Might have even been a pants-down spanking. (I wasn't looking)...moving on...
Mike M -- A-
Had himself a decent stat night. 3 and 2 with a game-winner. Showed his son how it's done. Gotta dock him just a bit because some of his shots looked like muffed golf swings and somehow went in anyway.
Ignads -- B-
I know what you're thinking Iggy. 3 goals and a gamewinner and I only get a B minus?? Yeah, well, you passed the stat test, but not the eyeball test. Too much shake, not enough bake. :)
Mike W -- A
Four goals, half of which should not have had a chance against Dave or a healthy Brett. Mike took advantage of the situation and looked a bit like an out-of-control freight train at times. But that's nothing new I suppose...
Jason -- F-
Had one vulture assist. That's about all I can say that was positive about his game last night.
Brett [Goaltender] -- Incomplete
Nets himself a shutout in a game where I'm not sure that he ever even faced a shot on goal...But too much Jameson will do strange things to a man. Hope he recovers in time for the Haverhill Cup. It would be a shame if we had to play it without him.
JB [Goaltender] -- A-
Maybe JB has finally found his true calling? Lets up four goals while donning Brett's disease-ridden equipment and manages to keep the black team from getting that last goal, despite several chances. I think we found our replacement goalie for Elliott now! And now for the sweet words that Jared loves to hear: Redraft! Redraft! Redraft!
Not sure I agree with the grades so much, but it did make me chuckle a few times. Haha.
No one is ever going to agree on the grades. or anything.

I only saw the shake part.
I wonder if we'll ever see WPR or BigBoard ever again??
I think they are sick...
Hope they didn't get what Brett had. That looked nasty.
