10 Iggy - Missing wide open nets is bad enough but iggy somehow shot it over the net from less than a foot away. I was almost impressed.
9 Gabriel - He’s the third most skilled player in Saugus. It’s just that 14 year old don’t know how to hustle yet. He joins a long, esteemed list of other players to play at 14. Little Ronnie, young chris young, nick. A most prestigious list
8 Mike Meadows - Gotta learn the rules
7 Dave - He’s like the mac Jones of Saugus. Takes all the blame for losses even though the rest of the team was awful. But don’t get it twisted. He wasn’t great
6 Jason - Johnny forced Jason to switch to Jared’s side (since Jared scored all 5 goals in game 1 against Johnny) where he played admirably. One dipsy-doo mistake all night
5 Billy T - Nothing flashy. It’s about time he gets noticed for doing nothing spectacular
4 Brett - I see a cliff dive coming this year
3 Ward - Are him and Jared the new Brett and Johnny?
2 Jared - He said he wasn’t going to go easy on Gabe. He lied, multiple times he could’ve flung gabes stick into the stratosphere, griff style, but he didn’t. He just took his 8 goals and went home
1 Jamie - A shutout where he made many point blank saves and even a few saves by complete accident
Honorable Mention - Brendon - Honorable mention in a good way. Forechecking has always been his strongest attribute
