not alot of bone was sawn away. and no it doesn't grow back. You're thinking of an iguana. but they just put pins in temporarily so that the finger heals straight.
it dislocated my middle finger too.
But because all the tendans were shredded, my fingers were drooping and so the pins will hold them out straight so it will heal straight

Hey Brett, did you even clean your hand before taking the picture? Holy moly.
Brett:"Ahhh"
Co-worker: "Are you ok Brett?"
Brett:"I'll be ok, can you take my picture?"
i was at the hospital when ariel took that picture.
it took a while for them to actually clean it up and stitch it. So while i was waiting ariel took a pic. It was much worse than the picture looks.
It took like 2 hours to get morphine in me.
i just wrapped my hand in some rags and went to the hospital.
I assumed they were cut across the bottom until I saw the pic.
where you using a chop saw or something like a radial arm saw?
it was a table saw.
It doesn't even make sense how i cut the 4 fingers the way i did. i can't even explain it. probably cause my mind has blocked out the actual event.
I just remember pushing the boards through and then the next thing i knew my hand looked like cottage cheese with cherry syrup mixed in.
it was way worse from other angles. I think you can see some bone in that picture. I'm missing some bone in 3 fingers. It got sawed away
How much bone was lost? From my very limited medical knowledge, bone won't grow back correct? What do they do for you in that case?
