More Hockey = More Fun
5 Matt S. (Dark Team) - Matt’s short stint on the dark team was great while it lasted. He was able to play effectively on offense while still having the presence of mind to hustle back and help on D and he wasn’t even center. See Jared, it can be done.
4 Ron - Tough night for Ron, not in the scoring department, but in the team support department. Ron tried all the tricks in his bag and came up short with 3 losses as the rest of his team seemed to leave their bag of tricks at home. Even the addition of Matt S and Mike P. weren’t enough.
3 Nick - Still has a few wrinkles to iron out in his game, but Nick was more than solid. While working with the rookies Mike J and Cindy on defense, Nick was able to limit the damage the white team caused. He utilized his shot from the point, getting it through a screen of players many times. Whether it was on net is a different story.
2 Brendon - Brendon took over game 2 with his offense along with Matt S. Brendon took to heart the advice given last week about being a pest and continued to be one this week. His defense wasn’t bad either. Brendon has seemed to finally have found his game. Maybe it was the short stick that messed him up for a while?
1 Brett - No Johnny. Verse Ron. Verse Darrin. Win. Win. Win. Brett shut the mouths of all his critics this past Sunday with an outstanding performance. He was able to break through the D(along with everyone else), or just run around the ones that were standing still, and just toy with them by either finding the open man, or finding the open net.

ill clean it up for you wpr.
no need
too late...couldnt even read it...
better now.
all you did was add bold. I fixed it but you were to busy correcting it
now it looks bad! What did you do?
wpr...spaces are needed. People like PPP cant read it when its all bunched together!
it looks fine on my computer nick.
What are you talking about no spaces?
of course it's fine i fixed it.
That's correct. White space is not only needed it's a necessity, and it increases readership.
However, most importantly, you don't want to be ruffling PPP's feathers.
Just finished reading all the recaps for the Montreal tournament.
Can't wait till we go again.
Nick that was some of your best stuff. WPR was better back then too.
i'd agree with that. In fact those recaps may never be topped.
The problem is that in Saugus nothing different ever seems to happen, most weeks are very similar. John wins, Jared complains, some players step up, and others fall on their face. Most weeks are fun, but nothing substantially diffrent happens often enough to write a different recap. Montreal was so different, even just game to game, that the recaps practicallly wrote themselves.
what about set teams again, now that my hand is getting closer to normal?
Montreal was the most fun tournament that we ever played in. It tops the 1st Florida tourney, and Breakout Rhode Island in that regard.
As for teams, let's have someone propose what they should be for the next few weeks...
