Nick do a recap. Sunday night has come and gone. You are clearly underachieving since last week!

Well, it was an eye-opening experience to say the least. Time to go buy a cup!

Lenny how is the captain!!?? Im out for at least this week barring some miraculous recovery. I did nothing worth mentioning last night. That being said i'd like to start a topic. How to defend some players here at saugus. I'll start with jared, since i felt i did a good job against him on d. against smaller faster guys i like to give myself at least 5 yard cushion from the moment they get the puck a make a move to the offensive zone. Also i note some of their tendencies... and in jareds case he loves to speed rush on the outside along the board and he usually is successful against those who dont game plan against him. I never play him up on the line if he is a winger on my side of the rink. While he attempts his rush along the board i make sure that i match his speed as best as i cant for a short period forcing him tighter into the board. If i am sucessful jared will usaually attempt a wrist shot deep from the corner or try and beat me in toward the goalie short side. If not jared will use a quick stop, with my momentum carrying me away from him and take a slap shot. He usually puts it on net. .... That my two cents on defending just one of the outstanding scores here at Hockey town sunday night.. IF anyone else has other comments as to how they put the kibosh on another offensive star. or if any of the offensive stars would like to note guys that plays tough d on them and how its done also post. Jared if you think this post in now reflects on how you play.. well pfft! lol

I think playing off him is right, especially when we play inside(smaller rink) But be sure to not play too far off, you need to be able to get the puck from him as well.

Thanks to Brett's tutelage last night, I think I have Improved!!!

Thanks Brett.
